Hill's Science Diet Thomas Dolby Ad?

Back in the 1980s, Thomas Dolby had a popular song called: "She Blinded Me With Science". Well, I thought that song might make a fun ad for Hill's Science Diet Cat Food, with the song slightly altered for the purpose. I find myself singing that song in modified form when I feed my sister's cats with it, so I thought it might be catchy and help Hill's Science Diet sell more cat food to people who know the song. (My sister's cats just love Hill's Science Diet dry cat food, by the way. It's one of the only things they actually like to eat, aside from the occasional mouse or bird they manage to catch.)

So the ad would be live-action with computer animation stuff where a woman feeds her two cats Hill's Science Diet Cat Food, and the cats are singing, and then a veterinarian in a white lab coat jumps in the scene for a second and proclaims the third line of lyrics in parentheses, and they all dance around the kitchen together a bit. And the song in the ad, "She Blinded Me With Science", would have a cover version of the rewritten first verse, with lyrics like so:

It's poetry in motion, she feeds those tender chunks to me,
Like fish fresh from the ocean, and sweet as tender love can be,
She feeds her cats with Science, (She feeds her cats, with Science Diet!),
She knows feline gastronomy!

(The ad would show her cat{s} singing the song, but with the veterinarian guy in a white lab coat exclaiming the part in the third line that's in the parentheses.)

And then there could be an extended music video for the whole (new, reworked) song, with the cats singing and the vet and the woman all dancing around her kitchen and so forth. It would be really cute, and I'll bet it could be quite popular with cat lovers as something fun they send to each other over the internet: who knows, it could take on a life of its own. And every time Thomas Dolby said: "Science!", the new version would have the veterinarian (who could be Thomas Dolby if he would be willing to do it, and it could be really fun) say: "Science Diet!", and when the processed woman's voice says: "Blinded me with science! (echo:) science!", the new version would have her sing: "Feeds her cats with Science, Diet!"

Here's the original song "She Blinded Me With Science" (The part the ad would use would be from about 0:05 to 0:35 in this YouTube video clip):

You know, when a song gets used in an ad like this, I think the original songwriter and publisher gets paid a royalty for each and every time the commercial is aired on TV, which can add up to quite a lot, so it's possible that Thomas Dolby would be willing to do something like this. Plus, with this silly ad version of his song to remind everyone about "She Blinded Me With Science", a lot of people might just remember how much they liked it and buy it on iTunes. And he might even get a whole new generation of fans this way, especially cat lovers. Hey, you never know...
