Police Flustered by New T-Shirt Fad

Well, the immigration issue sure has made things difficult for the police. They're not allowed to ask about anyone's immigration status, but a new t-shirt fad that's sweeping the nation has them in quite the quandary. You see, the new shirts everyone is wearing says: "Ask me about my immigration status!" So the police read the shirt and then automatically, without thinking, ask the person wearing the shirt about their immigration status. Oh, but now the police have violated the law themselves, having been lured by the shirt. And once they make the mistake of asking that nefarious question, the shirt-wearer can say: "A-ha! You're not allowed to ask about my immigration status, you fascist!" and sue them. So police have instituted a new policy to combat these new shirts and their perceived entrapment agenda, which is that police are not permitted to read anyone's t-shirt anymore; and if they get caught looking at anyone's t-shirt for long enough for them to suspect the police are reading their t-shirt, and they ask them what they're doing, law enforcement has required officers from now on to apologize and claim they were merely staring at the t-shirt wearer's breasts.
