United Airlines Vacationing Couple Ad
In this TV spot for United Airlines, an adult (presumably married) couple is walking around at their vacation destination, and the woman is peppering the man with questions. She asks stuff about planning ahead and travel costs, I think (I can't believe I can't find this ad online, but alas, I can't), and to the well-thought-out answers, she says: "My mother was so wrong about you." And then she asks what the plan is now that they've arrived at their destination, and he says: "No plan: we're on vacation" (I'm paraphrasing.) And she smiles or something, but what she really ought to do is say: "Oh, so my mother was right about you after all!"
