National Geographic Genius Promo Ad

We see someone tuning up a violin to play like we’ve seen Sherlock Holmes do a millions times in movies, and then he begins playing Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”, and then the person playing the violin is revealed to be Albert Einstein, who then makes that famous Gene Simmons tongue sticking out pose like is on that famous Albert Einstein poster every science nerd has on their wall in college.

This is pretty brilliant, I think, to meld the three together. And yeah, I’m not going to disagree with them referencing Lady Gaga as a genius. It’s pretty clear she is. But they referenced her due to her halftime show.

This one was really fun. I wonder how many people actually saw it live. (I missed it the first time around. Why? Food.)
