We hear Norman Bates say: “Oh, mother; blood, blood!” And then we see him sinking the car into the swamp. And then we see the scene where Lila Crane goes down to the fruit cellar to find Mrs. Bates, and she taps her on the shoulder, Mrs. Bates’s mummified corpse swings around, Norman Bates rushes in dressed as his mother, and: Ree! Ree! Ree! Ree! Then the announcer says: “P&G: Proud sponsor of moms!”
