Why is it that pharmaceutical ads always show happy couples,
one of whom uses the drug? Why don’t they show lonely single people drinking
alone at home? Why do we never see unhappy couples in divorce court? And why
never someone stalking their ex while on the new medication that makes them
better at stalking or whatever? It’s almost like they’re trying to say we’ll
all be happily married and living in bliss if we buy and use the product. Gee,
I wonder if they stop taking it what might happen in the next ad: they lose
their home, they get divorced, fight over custody of the kids and pets, etc.
You know, what they deserve for their disloyalty to the drug.
