Today, Dominique Strauss-Kahn was led into the courtroom in Manhattan to jeers and protests from hotel maids bused in by their union. This made me wonder: what’s the point of him being a Socialist if he can’t get away with this kind of stuff with unions? He might as well be a Conservative.
Another thing that came up today is that the lawyer for the victim said that the truth would come out no matter how much money Strauss-Kahn has. Hmm. I guess he must not have as much money as I thought. Doesn’t money buy you innocence anymore? I guess this really is class warfare like the Republicans said.
