School Sex Surveys

Last night on a news program, the issue of a school in Massachusetts giving graphic sex surveys to kids as young as twelve popped up. (Get it? “Popped up”? Ha ha! Oh, sorry… It’s the Weinergate thing! He made me do it!) *Ahem!* Anyway, supposedly this survey was asking kids whether they had engaged in sex before, what type of sex stuff they had done or were doing, how often they were doing it, and whether they were using contraception, what kind of contraception, etc.

So there was a panel, and a conservative person was bitching and moaning, complaining that “how dare” any school liberals try to indoctrinate their kids with their commie social engineering sex surveys; and then there was a liberal person on saying that this information is important and that it’s a reality of our current times that kids are being exposed to pornography on the internet and being targeted by hyper-sexualized advertising and music videos on TV, and that someone needs to help educate and protect these kids, yadda yadda. (BTW: I wasn't trying to make the conservative person sound unreasonable and the liberal sound reasonable; that's literally what they were each saying.) And while they were arguing about this back and forth, it became clear to me that they were both wasting their time pontificating on this issue because they were totally over-thinking it.

Look, we all know that teachers are getting arrested left and right for having sex with their students, right? Well, obviously this sex “survey” was meant as a way for the teachers to find out what kids are sexually-active so they can hit on them for their sex predator stuff and maybe they won’t tell on them because they’re already having lots of sex anyway. And then if the kids want to tell on them, they can always blackmail them with the “survey” and show it to their parents and the whole school, and use it as evidence that they’re “sluts” anyway as a defense. Pervert teachers: I’m on to them!
