"I Lost My Shirt" (Proposed) Gym Ad
We all know how bad the economy has been over the past few years, and how a lot of people have lost their shirts. Well, this idea/image of losing one's shirt could be spun around for use as an ad for a gym, don't you think? Here's how it would work: Some handsome, sculpted, muscular, in-shape guy would say that in the precarious economic times we've been experiencing lately, he lost his job, he lost his investments, and he lost his shirt. And when that happened, boy was he happy that he had been working out at (whatever gym), because it could have been very embarrassing if he had lost his shirt and it exposed his formerly flabby and pasty torso! But, luckily for him, he had been a member of (the gym the commercial is for), and he was in great shape, so when he lost his shirt, it simply exposed his ripped, sexy physique! And when people got a look at what great shape he was in, they naturally assumed he was very motivated and fastidious in his work, so he was hired on the spot by another company! And now he's living better than ever before, and he's more successful too, and all because he worked out at (whichever) Gym: and you could too!
