Michelle Malkin used to be my favorite yelling head on cable news: She was always ridiculously fuming mad, and she looked like she was about to bite the lens off of the camera and crawl through the TV set like Sadako from Ringu and kill anyone who didn’t agree with her. That’s why she was always so much fun to watch! But now she smiles most of the time and seems personable as all get-out, as though she loves being an Obama administration critic. (Which she probably does.) But she used to be so angry and combative, it’s kind of a 180-degree shift in her, even if all her policy stuff is the same as it was before. It’s positively baffling!
But I think I know why this is. She must love being able to attack and criticize this presidency, what with all the bad stuff going on, and attack lefty policies, etc., and so it makes her positively giddy to do so (so much so that occasionally, she can hardly contain her glee, it seems!). But back when she always seemed so mad, she was defending the Bush administration, and that must have felt like a losing battle, and maybe she was angry that she was always having to defend their crappy policies. But now that she gets to attack a Democrat’s crappy policies, it’s awesome for her! Could that be it?
It’s just weird to see her look so happy all the time when she was always so mad before, especially when you consider that her party is out of power at the moment. See what I mean here? Shouldn’t she have been happy back when the Republicans were in power, and unhappy now? She claims to be unhappy, but she’s always smiling now; so what gives?
