Tonight I brought over a silly Dr. Who movie for my niece to watch: Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 A.D., and I was trying to explain what the Daleks are to get her to give the movie a chance. (She loves Hammer horror movies from the 1950s and 60s, so I thought she might like this, too.) Well, we had been at a comic book store recently, and they had little stuffed plush Daleks that when squeezed said: "Exterminate!", and I reminded her of this, and it piqued her interest. And then it hit me: The Daleks would make a great ad for an exterminator (or maybe a sketch comedy bit)! Has anyone done this before? I've never seen it, but it would be a hoot!
So someone would find that their home is infested with cockroaches, or ants, or termites, or whatever pests, and so they'd call the Daleks' Exterminator Service. So then the Daleks would show up, and they'd roll all around the house saying: "Exterminate! Exterminate!" And then, after a bit, the Daleks would come rolling out of the house and say to the homeowners: "All the bugs have been exterminated!" And then they'd roll off down the street. Wouldn't that be fun, especially for Dr. Who fans? (And if it was a real ad for some exterminator, they could say at the end: "Orkin: Like the Daleks, extermination is our business! But unlike the Daleks, we only exterminate pests." {For now!})
Here are the Daleks, saying stuff about extermination:

(Oh, and I wonder something about the Daleks: If they ever fought the Borg, lost and were assimilated by the Borg, would the Daleks then all roll around blaring: "Assimilate! Assimilate!"?)
