(Special Mother’s Day Post! {Making fun of an ad including a mother character!})
1-800-Dentist has been running ads for a while now where
they’re using the same idea over and over again, and it’s someone who needs to
see a dentist, and their friend or family member says something to suggest
something that’s completely unrelated, proving how dangerously rare dentists
really are. (I heard they’re endangered even.)
Well, in this one, a young woman says she asked her mother
about finding a dentist, and her mom said she knows a nice podiatrist who’s single.
Well, that’s funny, because I also know a nice podiatrist who’s also single. I
wonder if it’s the same one? It must be, because from what I understand, almost
all podiatrists are either heels, or married, or both. So it must be the same guy! (Boy, it sure is a small world,
huh?)
(BTW: Because they’re “heels” they become interested in feet
and become podiatrists.)
