For my whole life I have heard people use the expression: "Cheese it, the cops!" And yet I have never seen this used in an ad for Cheez It snack crackers. What the hey, ad people? That cheez-its me off! (Or did they do it and I missed it?)
Okay, so here's how this (joke) ad would work: Some stoners would be all high and giggling, eating Cheez Its in a parked car on the side of the road, when just then a police car would pull up behind them and an officer would get out and approach the car. So one stoner would say to the other: "Cheez It: the cops!" So the other stoner, the one holding the box of Cheez Its, would see the police officer at the window, and he'd open the window and hold out the box of Cheez Its. Well, the policeman would see the box, say: "Thanks!" and reach in to grab a handful, after which he'd just walk back to his squad car, eating the crackers the whole way, get in, and drive away. And thus another stoner is saved from arrest thanks to Cheez It snack crackers!
