In this new ad for the newest version of the Halo video game series, we see our stalwart heroes
fighting some new enemy, and the ad says: “An ancient evil awakens!” And if
there’s one thing we know about ancient evil, like everyone, they’re cranky
when they get woken up! So I’d venture to guess the best way to defeat this new
threat is to shoot coffee into their mouths with a Super Soaker Hydro Cannon.
And once they’ve had their coffee, they’ll probably be our friends, especially
with how expensive coffee is these days, seeing as how they’re getting it for
free.
I hope I haven’t ruined the game for anyone here. I’m
guessing this is the kind of thing players will find in Easter Eggs or on cheat
sheet stuff from G4, but you never know. Maybe they really are evil after all,
in which case, they won’t appreciate the coffee, and we’ll have to kill them.
And then the news reports inside the Halo 4
universe will accuse players of being murderers, and that negotiations are the
only way to settle things, etc.
