Duck Dynasty is one of the most popular shows on television. And this show title suggests another possible TV show: Donald Duck Dynasty. Donald Duck Dynasty would essentially place the Disney duck characters into the framework of the old nighttime soap opera power-play show Dynasty, with Scrooge McDuck as the filthy-rich family patriarch, and everyone else, from Donald and his lady, to his nephews Huey, Dewey & Louie, all jousting and positioning for power within the family and the hope of advantage through favoritism in the inheritance stakes. And then they’d stab each other in the back, lure each other out with duck lures during hunting season, etc. It’s a guaranteed source of hours of power-mad fun just waiting to be tapped! So come on, Disney: get with the program! America demands to see Donald Duck Dynasty!
