Don’t dropa the copa! Yes, it seems Sergio Ramos dropped the Copa del Rey off the top of Real Madrid’s tour bus, which then ran it over and crushed it. Oops! They hadn’t won it in 18 years; could this have been a punishment given to the cup for being so elusive?

I think I have an idea that might help prevent problems like this in the future: let the real cup get a plaque on it with the team's name that stays at the Copa del Rey headquarters, and give the team a Nerf cup replica that they can drop, kick, drive over, throw up in, etc. Then they could just rinse it out the next day and it would be as good as new. And regardless of what they did to their Nerf cup, the real one would be fine, protected from their idiocy. Maybe it's something to consider in the future.
