The Annoying Orange, the YouTube sensation for kids, has its
own show on TV now, and as such, it’s a genuine TV personality now. So what
better thing for an orange that’s a television personality to do than to make
ads for orange juice? It just makes sense!
So, how to make an ad for orange juice with the Annoying
Orange? Why, that’s easy! Here’s how it would play out (It would be an ad for
kids and parents on kids’ TV):
Some man would wake up in the morning, and when he turned
his head over, instead of his wife, he sees the Annoying Orange on his wife’s
pillow, and it says: “Good morning! Time for a fresh-squeezed glass of orange
juice!” So the guy is shocked, and he jumps out of bed and runs into the bathroom,
but when he opens the shower curtain, he sees the Annoying Orange, which says:
“Good morning! How about some fresh-squeezed orange juice?” So the guy screams,
shuts the shower curtain, and looks in the mirror; and naturally therein he
sees the Annoying Orange, which again says: “Good morning! How about a some
fresh-squeezed orange juice?” So the guy shrinks from the mirror and runs out
of the bathroom, only to be greeted by the Annoying Orange, who again says:
“Good morning! How about some fresh-squeezed orange juice?” So the guy goes
crazy and grabs the Annoying Orange, squeezing it, and juice comes out, and the
Annoying Orange says: “Exactly! That’s how you make fresh-squeezed orange
juice!” Then the announcer says: “There’s an easier, less annoying way to get
fresh-squeezed orange juice: with (whatever brand, let’s say) Tropicana Fresh
Squeezed!” (Product shot insert.) And then the guy comes down to the kitchen
fully dressed, and his wife says: “Good morning! How about some fresh-squeezed
orange juice?” And the guy screams and runs out of the house, only to open his
car door to find: the Annoying Orange (!).
Kids might enjoy that ad, as it’s pretty silly, and it might
make them want to drink orange juice too.
