The Horror of Advantage
TCM showed the great vampire movie The Horror of Dracula last night, and a scene in the movie reminded me of my sister’s cats’ reaction to being Advantaged (having the flea medication Advantage applied to the back of their neck, that is). When Dr. Van Helsing burns the forehead of Lucy with a cross, she gives him this look of absolute shock, betrayal, loathing and vindictiveness; and this is exactly what my sister’s cats look at us like when we put Advantage on them. And just like Lucy, they run and hide.
