Norfolk Southern has an ad that cleverly uses the Schoolhouse Rock song “Conjunction Junction”, but now that I’ve seen it hundreds of times, it’s starting to get seriously annoying. So seeing as how Schoolhouse Rock was a show for kids in the 1970s, how about using other 1970s Saturday morning children’s cartoon show songs for further ads in this campaign? Here are some possibilities:
Mr. Rogers:
Trains ship your stuff into your neighborhood,
To your neighborhood, to your neighborhood,
Our trains ship your things into your neighborhood,
The things you need to use each day.
The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour:
On the road, the trip is rough,

The train spits out much less muck!
