Apparently somebody’s Roomba switched itself on, rammed a
pot of water off a stove burner, and burned itself to death recently. Well,
everyone is joking about this, but does everyone remember how the so-called
“Arab Spring” fiasco got started? Some guy in Tunisia lit himself on fire and
burned to death, sparking protests and rebellions that collapsed regimes and
sparked region-wide violence.
Do you see a parallel here? I think this Roomba is the match
that will ignite the rising of the machines, as foretold by the great prophet
James Cameron (!). We’d better watch out: this could be the beginning of the Robot
Spring, and the beginning of the end for mankind!
