There are lots and lots of video games out there, but they're all pretty easy to play. So how about a video game where it is very difficult and complicated to play, and nearly impossible to win? That would really be a gift to video game enthusiasts who crave a challenge.
So what I propose is that people think of the Affordable Care Act website as a cryptic logic problem-style video game, where the object of the game is to sign up for health insurance. And if people thought about the Obamacare website in this way, they might really enjoy using it, and thinking of it as a game may make people really appreciate its challenging game play and all the time they would get to spend using it, as opposed to a frustrating Kafkaesque experience which accomplishes nothing and exposes the most critical and vulnerable personal information to online hackers and fraudsters. Yes, think of the Obamacare website as a really difficult brain-twister video game, and you really might enjoy every minute you spend trying to figure out how to get through the conceptual labyrinthine puzzle of an application website.
You know, it's really how you choose to think about things and approach difficulties that determine whether or not your life experiences are happy and positive. So think of this experience as a game, and you'll learn to see the glass as half full, rather than half empty. And even if it's half full of crap, at least it's half full.
