The Origin of CNN 3D Graphics?

Poor CNN, The Daily Show always makes fun of them for all their silly holograms and all the 3D graphics they waste their money on instead of investigative journalism! Oh, but in their report tonight on the JFK assassination, could they have shown the genesis of their 3D graphics stuff? Let’s take a look!

In the CNN show tonight: The Assassination of President Kennedy, CNN shows a news clip of Cliff Michelmore of the BBC in a scale model of Dealey Plaza, reporting on the JFK assassination, so he can stomp around like Godzilla while reporting on the conspiracy stuff. And from looking at it, I’d say that this must be the origin of the CNN 3D/hologram graphic crap. I mean, uh, stuff: 3D Stuff!

And just in case you missed it, there’s a really crazy joke on this whole conspiracy thing from The Kentucky Fried Movie called “Scot Free”, where it’s an ad for a JFK assassination board game, and you can see it at:

The thing that’s so brilliant about the “Scot Free” sketch is that it plays on the whole conspiracy thing and the media frenzy without actually being particularly disrespectful to President Kennedy. It’s a real balancing act, which is not easy, and they pull it off well.
