As we mostly all know, Twitter is being used by lots of
companies for on-the-fly advertising/marketing purposes, exemplified by the now
famous Oreo Twitter ad during the blackout at the Super Bowl last weekend. But
seeing as how Twitter is being used so much to advertise other products, why
not make their own Twitter branded products? Because after all, every time
anyone ever used or even thought about Twitter, it would be a de facto ad for
their products, right? And they at Twitter have been straining to figure out a
way to make money from Twitter, right? Well, this might be the answer: Twitter
branded products!
And what would be the perfect thing to start a line of
Twitter brand products with? Well, why not start with the first meal of the
day: Twitter breakfast cereal! It could be oat alphabet letters, with honey-glazed multigrain hashtags and little blue
marshmallow Twitter logo birds. (And it would be only 140 calories per serving.)
Then, naturally, next there should be Twitter Sportswear. We
all love Polo and Lacoste with their polo player and crocodile logos, but
everyone (especially younger people) seems to love Twitter even more! So who wouldn’t want to have a
little blue Twitter bird logo on our clothes? Nobody: that’s who!
And the possibilities are virtually endless from there! So
you know you want them: Demand
Twitter branded products!
