Pistachios ads have had fun featuring lots of famous people.
They even had a Super Bowl ad with Psy doing “Gangnam Style” with pistachios.
But they’re missing out on one celebrity that would make a fun ad copy
metaphor: Ron Jeremy! He could say that he loves pistachios so much, it makes
him “bust a nut”: and then he breaks open a pistachio nut and eats it.
(Oh, please, pistachios collective: as an Internet ad at
least? You could put it on adult websites. They eat food too, right? And they’d
totally get the joke, and probably appreciate it to boot. So they’d probably buy pistachios just as an appreciation for targeting their market demographic when nobody else seems to want to. And then if the Religious Right complained about it, you could point out that there’s only one place they could have seen the ad, and they would be exposed as the pornography consumers they might just be.)
