In watching the movie Lincoln today, I was reminded of the phrase used in houses of Congress: “The floor is yours.” Well, with my crazy advertising-on-the-brain, I couldn’t help but think of a reply like this one: “Well, if it’s my floor, then how about some nicer carpeting, or hardwood flooring?” And this could easily segue into a pitch for a carpet/flooring company. (Except for Empire: We’re not an empire in the United States.)
Then we could see all these options for carpeting and flooring in the Congress, from the sublime to the ridiculous. Now wouldn’t that be a fun ad for such stuff?
