C.O.P.D. is a breathing problem, so I thought the ads for
C.O.P.D.-related medicines (like Spiriva) might be a bit more fun if C.O.P.D.
were personified by a brutal, repressive police state police force (C.O.P.D., as in the
Chronic Obstructive Police Department) who wore riot gear and put people in
choke holds, and “arrested” people’s breathing. And then the medicine the ad is
for would be like the ACLU, who would bail people out, give people CPR, and get
them breathing again.
