In this horrific movie, survivors from a shipwreck during
wartime swim to what they think is a lifeboat, but which they find out, too late,
is no such thing. Instead, it’s an alien life form with a giant mouth that can
shape-shift into any open-ended object. And once our heroes and heroines tire
themselves out and play out their dramas, the deathboat grows giant sharp teeth
around its edges and traps everyone inside, digesting them all like a Venus Fly
Trap. (And it lives happily ever after, doing the same thing to everyone it
encounters.)
