This TV spot for the Mercedes M Class shows us in a fun
smash-up derby setting how their safety features can help protect you. But the
main message I get from this ad is: “Damn! A Mercedes is a pretty expensive car
to want in this environment, and if it’s really a smash-up derby out there,
maybe I should buy a cheaper car.”
Fun ad, though. I like the thought process a lot. And you never know: maybe
no-one but me will get the wrong message when they see it.
