The Arab League has decided it supports military intervention in Syria. Oh, you know what? Hey, I have an idea: Why doesn't the Arab League take military action in Syria themselves? They're rolling in oil wealth, we've sold them lots of weapons, they've got soldiers and armies, etc. So why don't they take care of it? After all, they're already right there. Why does America always have to do everything?
Oh, but if the Arab League takes military action themselves, they can't then blame America for everything that goes wrong, and have their militant Islamist buddies claim that America is killing Muslims again, raising lots more money for their Jihad. Yes, if the Arab League does it, they might have to face the consequences of military action and all the downsides that come with it themselves. And that's no fair when they can trick us into doing it for them. But the least they could do is give us free oil to show their appreciation, seeing as how we spend so much money and lives doing their dirty work for them.
But seriously, what's their excuse for not doing it themselves, again?
