We Don't Have a Dog in This Fight
Everybody's talking about the Syrian intervention thing on CNN, trying to make it look as heroic as possible, but a couple people have been opposed to military action, or at least critical of what the effects might be and pondering what the actual aim here is, aside from polishing a turd. And one of those people claimed the Syrian Civil War is really a war between Iran and Al Qaida, adding: "We don't have a dog in this fight." Well, of course we don't have a dog in the fight: dogfighting is not only cruel and inhumane, it's also illegal! What kind of example would that set for the international community if we were running an illegal dogfighting ring on the side? The very thought of such a thing; I mean, really!
