I saw a segment about Khan Academy on 60 Minutes this weekend, and I couldn't help but think of Khan form Star Trek, naturally. And then it hit me what probably happened: Khan set up a wonderful online learning resource, and it worked so well, it threatened the educational status quo (leading teachers and the Department of Education to scream: "Khaaaaaaan!"), so the teachers' union abducted Khan, injected him with a super-soldier serum, and then claimed he was a danger to humanity. And so then he got shot into space, where he found an alien online course in how to get revenge, and he attacked Captain Kirk.
(Search your feelings: you know it to be true! {<Oh, sorry: that's from Star Wars, isn't it?})
