Align Groovy Train Station Ad

Some guy has yellow and green versions of himself printed out of register in this silly ad for a probiotic tablet for regularity. But then we get the idea that he has taken the pill, and all his printing becomes perfect, and he starts dancing (like we all do when we have to go potty), as the announcer says: “Stay in the groove… with Align.”

So slang terminology referencing grooves has to do with regularity? Wow, no wonder everyone was always confused about what it meant: it was a code word for something most people don’t want to have to be literal about. Now I finally get it!

So then Madonna’s song: “Get Into the Groove” is about regularity? (Maybe that should be the next ad, with a now more-responsible Madonna preaching about probiotics for regularity to her children, who then retort from the bathroom: “Mamma don’t preach!”)
