In this proposed ad for Gatorade, a coach has his football
team’s locker room showers fitted so that Gatorade comes out of them, hoping
this will give his team the winning spirit that comes with the Gatorade Shower
the coach gets after winning games. And we see some of his players in the
showers, with Gatorade showering down on them in the Gatorade flavor that
matches their team color.
Then, as the tag, the coach goes home, and his wife’s hair
is in a white towel stained with Gatorade of the same team color, and she says:
“Honey, if you’re going to replace the water with Gatorade, could you please
tell me first next time? This stuff is sticky! And yet, somehow I feel like I
just won something big.”
Then the announcer says: “Gatorade gives you the winning edge!”
(Or: “Gatorade soaks you with the winning spirit!” Or maybe even: “Gatorade
quenches your thirst for victory!”)
