At the end of each competitive performance, assuming they
don’t implode, figure skaters generally have lots of stuffed animals thrown out
onto the ice by their adoring fans. But what happens to all of these stuffed
animals then? They probably end up in some storage space, neglected, dusty,
forgotten. So maybe Sarah McLachlan should make an ad for PETSA (People for the
Ethical Treatment of Stuffed Animals) asking people to help these poor
neglected stuffed animals, with lots of loving close-ups of dusty stuffed
animals.
(I hope the skaters donate them to some charity that gives
them out to needy children, but I have to admit I have no idea what happens to
them.)
