In this joke/proposed ad for Tide Coldwater, we see a group
of CSI-type investigators analyzing
evidence from a serial killer’s home, and there are a few bloodstained articles
of clothing they are testing for DNA and such. And the team leader says: “Wow,
it looks like we finally nailed him! Thank goodness he didn’t use Tide
Coldwater: It gets out tough stains in cold water, even blood stains. In fact, it
works so well, he may never have been caught had he used Tide Coldwater!” And
all the underlings mumble their agreement with this assessment.
Then I guess the tagline would have to be something like: “Tide
Coldwater: It’s murder on tough stains!”
