Geico Pillsbury Dough Boy Ad

(This is the Geico ad with the Pillsbury Dough Boy going through the airport TSA.)

Happier than the Pillsbury Dough Boy on his way to a baking convention?

Why on Earth would the Pillsbury Dough Boy want to go to a baking convention? Someone will throw him in an oven and bake him to death! And then people will eat his corpse!! Aaaaaa!!!

Oh, my God! Oh, the doughmanity!

But you know, maybe Pillsbury works him so hard for so little money that he wants to end it all to gain sweet release from his doughy bondage.

Here's the baking bit:

Hey, come to think of it: Dough Bondage? Hey, that could be a sexy new ad campaign for Pillsbury where the Dough Boy and Dough Girl have a Fifty Shades of Grey-style relationship, using whips and chains and ropes all made of dough, and oil, butter and grease each other up with vegetable shortening. (Maybe call it: Fifty Shades of Beige?) After all, the Pillsbury Dough Boy is a big, successful brand logo, so he's going to attract the dough ladies (or maybe lower-level brand logo characters).

I've written about this spot earlier last year, and here's that post:
