Soup is eaten with a spoon, so it might be fun to have an ad campaign for Campbell’s Soup using the idea of spoonerisms, where the ad opens, saying: “Campbell’s Soup presents: Spoonerisms.” And the first one could be: “Meme of Crushroom”, and we could see an Internet meme of pictures of rooms being crushed, and people pretending that the walls are crushing in on them. And of course, Meme of Crushroom is a spoonerism for Cream of Mushroom, a very popular flavor of Campbell’s Soup.
And there could be a few ads using this spoonerisms idea, and at the end of each ad, there could be a Campbell’s Soup website listed where consumers are invited to present their own ideas for Campbell’s Soup Spoonerisms.
