GE Deadly Machines (Joke) Ad

GE has a commercial where they use robots from movies and TV shows to promote their technology. And now they’re using Agent Smith from The Matrix in an ad. Well, if they’re going to do that, and tip their hand to us that they’re evil and controlling, why not just come out and say it? So how about this (joke) ad for their next spot in this robots ad campaign:

The announcer says: “Here at GE, we’re working on powerful new machines…” And then we see HAL from 2001 killing someone, the Daleks killing people as they exclaim: “Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!”, terminators killing people from the Terminator movies, and Arnold Schwarzenegger saying: “F*ck you, assh*le!” and killing someone, the computer from Demon Seed trapping Julie Christie, the Yul Brynner robot from Westworld shooting people and chasing Richard Benjamin, the Borg attacking and assimilating Star Trek characters, etc. Then we see Jeffrey Immelt as a Borg, and he says: “GE machines are coming. Prepare to be assimilated. Resistance is futile.” Then the screen goes black, and the announcer says: “GE: Resistance is futile!”, as the new GE slogan, “GE: Resistance Is Futile”, appears on the screen in blood-red computer monitor display letters. (And as the tag, we see a shot of the General Electric logo, which then zooms out to a long shot of a Borg cube flying away. {Yep: GE makes all the Borg cubes in the universe!})

If they made this ad, then nobody could ever accuse them of trying to trick us into complacency while they covertly take over the world, because they would have already just come out and told us. And even if they’re not planning on conquering the world and exterminating mankind, wouldn’t it be impressive if they could convince us that they could do it? And who wouldn’t want to transmit a message of such power? In fact, the only reason they wouldn’t make this ad is if they’re really planning to conquer the world and destroy mankind, right? So if they don’t make this ad, I guess we’ll all know what they’re really up to… (Just kidding! They might be implementing plans to make humanity obsolete whether they make this ad or not. So trust no-one! Plan your escape! And above all, act normal: your GE appliances are watching you! {We wouldn’t want to tip our hand that we’re onto them.})
