There’s an Internet ad about some, um, I guess it’s a weight
loss thing (?) where some hulking muscle-head is shown, and then the ad implies
that if you take their drug, or whatever it is, you’ll be just as super-heroic-looking
as that guy. Well, that’s not really an honest claim, and I do ever so much
detest dishonest claims in ads. So how about this instead: they could say that
this muscle-bound guy owns the company, and if you don’t buy their stuff, he’s
going to knock your door down and kick your ass. I mean, sure, maybe that’s not
true either, but at least it’s not a false claim about the product’s efficacy.
