Is Affluenza Contagious Among Non-Rich Teens?

CNN had one of the "Bling Ring" on the news today, answering questions about a huge home invasion party in a L.A. area mansion where over $1 Million-worth of damage was done and tons of stuff was stolen, and the Bling Ring guy said he blames social media for what he and the Bling Ring did. Because when you see people showing off nice stuff online, it forces you against your will to break into people's homes and steal their stuff, in addition to any other crimes you commit, none of which are your fault whatsoever, obviously. People cannot help it: it's social media's fault! So then it's clear that social media should go to jail for corrupting our youth and forcing them to commit crimes they don't want to commit.

So, these kids too must either have Affluenza, or else they have contracted it from watching spoiled characters and Reality TV people on TV, which makes Affluenza the first ever disease that's contagious through watching television and using social media alone.

Here's the contagious story:

So then I guess you don't even need to be rich to have Affluenza: it's just that insidious! You know, when you think about it, if the Bling Ring guy is right, and social media and celebrating materialism and luxury on reality shows is to blame for spreading Affluenza, then perhaps people like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian are the modern Typhoid Marys.

So it has become clear how much this country needs Tamafflu to help treat Affluenza!
