Pedantic Prurience (The Movie)

It’s Pedantic Prurience, the rip-off Fifty Shades of Grey mockbuster rushed into production to take advantage of all the casting problems with the production of the actual original silly sadomasochism movie, and hopefully beat it into the theaters. (And double hopefully beat it black and blue at the box office for the green, as the actors beat on each other for an entirely different reason.)

Here’s the plot of the movie:

An innocent, sexually inexperienced young woman gets a job working as an assistant for a dashing and mysterious tycoon, who introduces her into the seductive world of sadomasochism. Well, she wants to succeed in business, and she’d like the shortcut up the corporate ladder, so she tolerates it, even pretends to enjoy it, despite being creeped-out. But he doesn’t end up promoting her anyway, so she sues him for sexual harassment, and in a long, drawn-out sensational court case that reveals the whole unseemly affair to the world, she wins, and cleans him out of all his money, after which she buys his company and becomes the head honcho. Well, by this point, power has gone to her head, and as she enjoyed with sadistic glee destroying her previous boss, she decides to try sadomasochism herself with her own assistant, and then she gets sued for sexual harassment, dragged through the court system publicly, and the assistant gets all her money and the company, etc. And the cycle continues…

That’s Pedantic Prurience, coming soon to a theater near you!

But with such a story, will you be titillated or offended? The producers are hoping you will be both: That way, they can equivocate all the way to the bank, while people show enthusiasm through word-of-mouth recommendations, as well as protest the movie, generating lots of free publicity on the news!
