Katy Perry has (I guess) a new perfume out, and the ads scream: “Own the Throne!” But, um, isn’t the throne slang for the toilet, especially in this country, where we don’t have a monarchy? Maybe she should sell Katy Perry brand toilets.
Oh, but isn’t perfume also called ‘toilet water’? Well, then I guess it’s perfect, so long as she calls her stuff ‘eau de toilette’, rather than perfume.

(BTW: I’m not trying to give Katy Perry a hard time because she’s a pop star. It’s just the ad slogan I’m making fun of here.)
