Tamafflu: The Treatment for Affluenza

There's a new "disease" being touted by social scientists called: "Allfuenza". It's when you're so rich you have a false sense of entitlement and cannot delay gratification, and you're too rich to learn how to care about others or how to take responsibility for your own actions, I think. And it's a very dangerous condition: for everyone else surrounding those affected in our society.

No, really: it is serious. Reportedly some teen stole his parents' car, got drunk, and ran over four pedestrians, killing them; but rather than get a prison or juvenile detention sentence, the teen was given 10 years probation, because he is suffering from Affluenza. (Well, that's one way to help engender a sense of responsibility in someone: practically no punishment for serious crimes that kill multiple innocent people.)

Well, now that we know Affluenza is a real threat to our rich children, we're going to need a treatment! So I recommend the makers of Tamiflu, the treatment for Influenza, now formulate a treatment for Allfuenza called: "Tamafflu". Maybe it's not too late to help treat this insidious disease before it afflicts more of our nation's rich, pampered youth (and by extension, causes real harm to others).

In fact, Tamafflu may not be enough! Surely we need to increase taxes on the poor to fund research into developing an immunization for Affluenza before it's too late! With enough money from not rich people (It is wrong to tax the rich for research into this condition, because they are the victims here, so they need to be given special treatment. I mean, in addition to the special treatment they already get because they are so rich: apparently that is not enough special treatment, so they need more.), hopefully we can find a cure to Affluenza, surely the most devastating public health crisis of our time!

Here's the story about the drunk driving thing to prove I am not making this up:

How does Tamafflu work? Well, it costs so much, the patient runs out of money, losing their affluence. Then they become normal. It's an extremely effective form of therapy.
