Galileo’s Finger

Some show on the History Channel called Angels and Demons Decoded said that some Illuminati guy secretly cut the middle finger off of Galileo’s hand (from his corpse, not while he was alive) to serve as an inspiration to scientists in pursuit of truth, and that it can still be seen in a reliquary at some science institute somewhere in Italy. That may be true about the finger and stuff, but I doubt it was to serve as an inspiration so much as to enable Galileo to continue to be able to “give the finger” to the church even in death. Because what finger are we talking about here? It’s his middle finger! When was the last time someone’s middle finger served as an inspiration for anything other than an insulting taunt? That’s what it means, and you can test for that to prove it. Now that’s just science.
