These attacks on McDonald’s are really going too far! Now someone is calling their Big Mac hamburger a “sugar-coated Satan sandwich”! So their agreement to cut portion sizes and to add healthy menu options, and to include calorie information on the menu is still not enough for the food police? Well I… What’s that? That quote’s not about McDonald’s? Then what could it be about? Wendy’s “Baconator”? No?
No, this term was used, and actually coined, to describe the debt-ceiling-raising deal approved by the House of Representatives yesterday. And the guy who said that about it was Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (Beaver’s & Wally’s cousin). And after that, I want to know what he thinks of the “Baconator”! Oh, and how he knows what Satan tastes like that he has to be “sugar-coated”! (Is this a case of “a spoonful of sugar helps the Mephistopheles go down”?)
