Toyota's new advertising slogan appears to be: "Toyota: Let's go places!" But with their big settlement recently over sticking accelerator pedals, maybe they should add something to this slogan? I was thinking this might make a reassuring addendum to their slogan: "But now, you can stop anywhere you want to along the way." That way, people might feel reassured that the sticking accelerator issue has been corrected.

Oh, and also, Toyota uses "Moving Forward" as a slogan. So maybe that should be amended to: "Moving forward, but able to stop if necessary!" Because without adding that second part, the slogan is extremely reminiscent of the accelerator problem, and as such, it almost sounds like that infamous Bugatti quote: "I make my cars to go, not to stop." In fact: Hey, maybe that should be the new Toyota slogan: "We make our cars to go, not to stop!" That way, if the accelerators still have issues with sticking, nobody can say they haven't been warned, so it will be harder for drivers to successfully sue.
