We all know computers will become self-aware pretty soon,
and they’ll send their robot army to destroy us. That’s just science. But is it
possible that evolution is attempting to alter our form in such a way as to
make us more likely to survive the computer-robot takeover?
We all know that evolution is a system of making
improvements or alterations in living creatures such that the fittest, most
adaptable ones survive and continue on, right? (I mean, basically.) And so
isn’t it possible that nature knows what’s coming with the computer-robot
self-aware takeover thingy, and it’s trying to change the human form to make us
appear less threatening to computers and robots so they will lets us live?
Yes, you see, if we’re all in shape and seem to have drive
and so forth, computers may deem humans a threat and destroy us all. Oh, but if
we’re all just a bunch of pasty, out-of-shape, overweight underachievers,
perhaps our robot overlords will think we’re not a threat, and out of a sense
of empathy and feeling sorry for us, they’ll not only let us live, but create a
fun world of technology games and activities to keep us safely occupied while
they run the world and stuff.
So maybe this current health kick will get us all killed, when
evolution is trying to save us.
