That’s right, apparently the ratings of the Jodi Arias trial are so huge and the coverage is so profitable, HLN has actually been caught bribing the prosecutors to keep the trial going on forever! And with state budgets in such a mess, many states are considering taking money where they can get it and turning trials into big, profitable reality TV shows. And surprisingly, state prosecutors and the Trial Lawyers Association reportedly have decided to back this idea, because apparently they all want to become TV stars.
(April Fools! But it might be an unexpected windfall that could help balance state budgets if they did it, because people are becoming more and more fascinated by these scandalous high-profile murder trials. Plus, if they did something like this, it could eventually evolve into stuff like The Running Man, Death Race 2000, and The Hunger Games, and finally breathe real life into silly science fiction movies!)
