I know the Goldie Blox company got the Beastie Boys mad over toys for girls, but surely they couldn’t object to the Republican Party using their songs without permission, right? After all, Republicans will eventually win again, and then it’s a fine-toothed-comb over their tax records for 30 years if they refuse.
So here’s how this would work: We would hear their song: “You’ve Got to Fight for Your Right to Party”, but with new lyrics that sing: “You’ve got to fight for your right-wing party!”
(Just kidding. I seriously doubt they’re Republicans.)
