In this Super Bowl ad for GoDaddy, actor John Turturro hosts while a purportedly real person quits her job on national television during the most watched show of the year. Well, I hope she succeeds at her new calling, because in this economy, it can be tough. But if she needs her old job back, maybe John Turturro can go beg her boss to get her job back like he begged for his life in Miller’s Crossing? It seems to me it’s the least they could do if using her for their advertising doesn’t end well for her. (I want to see that ad! Maybe it could be a guarantee: if you don’t or can’t find the job you want, they’ll send John Turturro to beg for your old job back!)
